Kate is a Senior Associate in Holland Beckett’s Property and Commercial team.

She has a background in property and commercial law, having begun her legal career in Auckland before joining Holland Beckett in 2012. Kate later moved into local government, where she spent almost a decade gaining valuable in-house commercial experience, before returning to Holland Beckett.

Kate’s combination of private practice and local government knowledge gives her a practical understanding of the commercial and property issues faced by both private and public sector clients. She provides pragmatic legal advice on a wide range of property and commercial issues including:

  • Residential and commercial conveyancing;
  • Subdivisions and easements;
  • Commercial contracts (including leasing);
  • Financing;
  • Elder law, including occupation right agreements and enduring powers of attorney.

Outside of work Kate enjoys spending time with her family, playing hockey, swimming in the ocean, and music.
