We are now seeking a transactional lawyer to join our high-performing Corporate and Finance team.
About the role:
You will work alongside three Partners with significant international experience. You will act for leading national and international clients on a range of domestic and cross-border transactions.
You will join a team with specialist expertise in:
- Asset and aviation finance (primarily international)
- Property finance
- Project finance (energy and infrastructure)
- Acquisition finance
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Corporate advisory and structuring
From the outset, you will be supported to develop your technical skills, build client relationships, and grow confidence across a variety of complex and interesting matters.
About you:
You are a commercially minded transactional lawyer with 2-6+ years’ PQE and a genuine interest in corporate and finance law.
- Admitted in New Zealand or another common law jurisdiction
- A strong client service focus and desire to add value
- Relevant experience in the corporate and/or banking & finance sectors
- A proactive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work with a good level of autonomy
- Excellent written, verbal, and technical skills
- A collaborative, down-to-earth and team-orientated approach
