Our COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
At Holland Beckett Law we are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our people, our clients, and our community.
Our partners support vaccination as an important step to help New Zealand progress towards reducing the risk of COVID-19 in our communities. We believe having a vaccinated workforce will reduce both infection and the likelihood of serious outcomes for those infected.
From 3 December 2021, Holland Beckett Law will require all staff, partners and any visitors to our offices to have a valid vaccine pass (including on the basis of a valid medical exemption).
Our policy follows the Government’s current advice and considers that a person is fully vaccinated after they have received their second vaccination. We will continue to review our approach on vaccination (including vaccine passes) as more information becomes available from the Government.
We respect an individual’s freedom of choice regarding whether to get vaccinated or not. There are some in our firm and in the wider community who are currently uncertain about vaccination, do not wish to get vaccinated, or are not able to get vaccinated for medical reasons.
We ask for your support and to respect our policy by communicating your vaccination status with your contact at Holland Beckett ahead of any in-person meeting and/or event. If you do not have a valid vaccine pass, we ask that you only meet with us either by video call, phone, email or by meeting off-site. We may ask you for proof of your vaccination status and require you to show us your vaccine pass on entry to our premises.
This is new territory, and we acknowledge that our policy won’t answer every possible scenario, but we believe it is the right path at the present time to keep our people safe at work.
Thank you for your support of our vaccination policy.
