Leesa joined Holland Beckett Law in February 2015 and is an Associate in our Family Law team.
Having graduated from the University of Waikato in 1999 and after gaining a broad background in litigation both in New Zealand and overseas Leesa now specialises in family law. Her practice areas include resolving post-separation relationship property disputes, advising on and drafting agreements contracting out of the Property (Relationships) Act 1976, marriage dissolution applications, parenting, guardianship matters, adoptions, care and protection of children, child support, claims arising out of wills and estates, and orders under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act for the appointment of property and welfare guardians.
Leesa has made many appearances in the Family, District and High Courts and has recently been appointed to the panel of lawyer for child.
