Tim joined Holland Beckett Law in 2016 after two years at the High Court as a Judges' Clerk. He works in the litigation team with a particular focus on trust and estates litigation and Companies Act disputes, but regularly acts in a range of commercial disputes and criminal cases.
Tim regularly appears in the High Court and District Court, and has conducted several trials. He is also familiar with alternative dispute resolution and is regularly involved in mediations, arbitrations and direct negotiation. Clients appreciate Tim's creativity and willingness to explore a wide range of options when looking for solutions to their disputes.
In addition to his work for clients, Tim has also published a range of academic articles in several national legal journals including the New Zealand Law Review and Te Wharenga - the New Zealand Criminal Law Review. In 2017, Tim was awarded the Auckland University LLM Award and is currently completing his master's degree in law alongside his other work.
